Joe Polgar, age 89 of Grosse Pointe Woods. Loving husband of the late Sally. Dear father of Matthew (Linda) Polgar, Mary Beth (Bob) Voelz, Susan Polgar and James Polgar. Beloved grandfather of Allison (Beau) Burdett, Kathryn Polgar, Marcus Voelz, Michael Voelz, Brian Voelz and Erik Voelz. Cherished great grandfather of Henry Burdett and Rose Burdett. He is survived by his sister-in-law Elaine Polgar. Joe was predeceased by his brothers, Robert “Ish” Polgar and Francis “Francis” Polgar.
During his life, Joe was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching NCIS and MASH with his favorite snack, coffee and donuts.
