John C. Lahey

Lahey, John C. Age 72 of Eastpointe, Michigan died at his residence Wednesday November 24, 2010. He was born in Sydney Nova Scotia, Canada to the late Alexander and Marguerite Lahey. John was a meat cutter for many years with A&P food Stores the last 23 years he was employed with Krogers. He loved fishing, bowling, casinos and watching hockey. He was a great cook. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Julianne (nee Horan), they were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Roseville, Michigan. Loving father of Laurie (Paul)Eckerson, John(Jennifer)Lahey and Steven Lahey. Dearest grandfather of Alex Eckerson, Tyler Friend and Zachary Johnson, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at A. H. Peters Funeral Home 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13 Mile Rd)Warren, Michigan Monday from 2pm until 9pm, additional visitation with the family Tuesday 9 A.M. until the time of the Service. Funeral Service Tuesday 10:30am with Military Honors following the Service. Burial will take place Wednesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly Michigan.
