Josephine Norkiewicz was born December 28, 1913 in Detroit, Michigan. Daughter of Leonardo and Maria (Grimaudo) Alcamo. Wife of the late Edward after 50 years of marrage. Edward died in 1987. Josephine was a resident of Warren for 47 years. She was a mother and homemaker who lived for her family. She was a member of St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church and the Womens assoc. at church. She passed away at home on April 10, 2010, at the age of 96. She is the mother of Mary Ann Scarzo, Edward (Pauline), Leo (Carol), and Ron. Grandmother of 4, great-grandmother of 9, and great-great grandmother of 2. Dear sister of Mary Salviati. Visitation Monday, April 12, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with Rosary Monday 6:00 p.m. at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic (13 1/2 Mile Rd.), Warren. In state Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until Mass time 11:30 a.m. at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover (South of Masonic), Warren. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
