Judith B. Abar passed away on February 8, 2026 at the age of 87. She earned an associates degree from Eastern Michigan University. She had many interests and hobbies throughout her life including playing the piano and organ. Judith’s creativity enabled her to excel in cross stitching, needle point. She made Church banners, enjoyed arts and crafts, interior design and gardening. Of all of her interests and hobbies, her biggest love was her family.
She is survived by her loving husband John. She was proud of her children John Abar, Linda Abar, and David Abar. She adored her grandchildren Matthew and Christa.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 10:00 am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods. Her family will receive guests at 9:00 am.
