Julia A. Johnson

Julie was the co-owner and operator of Vargo Dry Cleaners on Gratiot Avenue in Eastpointe until she retired sold the business in 1985. When Julie wasn't hard at work caring for customers and at home caring for her family she enjoyed playing many games including BINGO, Yahtzee, and Pinochle. She also enjoyed shopping and enjoyed traveling up North and spending time with family and friends at her property in West Branch.

Beloved wife of the late James Allen Johnson who passed away November 12, 2015.

Loving mother of the late Linda Lamkin, the late James "Jim" Lerminez, and Debbie Wilson.

Dear grandmother of Jim, Michelle, the late Matt, Jeff, Bill, Jennifer, Lori, the late Timmy, and Kristen.

Cherished great-grandmother of 18 and most loved great-great grandmother of 6.

Sister of Dorothy Haines. She also leaves behind her son-in-law, Bill and daughter-in-law Helen.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances; Siblings, Helen, her twin sister Josephine, and Gertrude.
