Kenneth Stephen Meuchel

Kenneth Stephen Meuchel, age 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 24, 2017. He was born on June 30, 1943 in Portland, Oregon; the son of Stephen and Mary Meuchel. Kenneth is a United States Army Veteran. He worked at the Pentagon for many years and later retired from TACOM after 30 years of service. He is a member and loyal volunteer of First Presbyterian Church of Warren. He also volunteered for Interfaith Volunteers Caregivers, Meals on Wheels, and was a voluntary Medicare Policy Advisor. He loved to garden, travel, including an African Safari with his son Russ, and had attended many plays and theater performances. He loved his cats Koko and Mia and in his later years learn to golf and bowl. Beloved husband of Lynn. Loving father of Russ (Siham) Meuchel and Anne Meuchel. Brother of Carol (Andy) Kay, the late Bob Meuchel, and the late Jerry Meuchel. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church of Warren, 3000 East 12 Mile Road, Warren, MI 48092. Family will greet guests starting at 9:00 am at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to First Presbyterian Church of Warren or the National Wildlife Federation.
