I remember Laura from when I worked at Somerset Pontiac -GMC. She was a nice person.

To Rob and Haily my heart goes out to both of you ! God works in mysterious ways that we don't understand sometimes. This was surely unexpected! The most important thing to remember is she is with you forever in your hearts! For you sweet lil Hailey your mom will always be watching over you she is an angel now! I feel lucky to have known her, she was head of our HR dept when I was at QEK you never would see Laura with out some type of greeting and call you by name with a BIG smile!!!! Laura, Michele, Lynette,Scott,Michael....some of my most comforting times as a young girl and going through some family pain and struggles similar to yours... was when our mothers got together with all of us kids... We would all play hide and seek for hours in your basement and I remember always begging to stay longer when it was time to go...I felt so comfortable there and would forget my worries. As adults we all experienced the same pain again of losing our precious mothers..its always given me comfort that they were together and now when I think you Laura, I see you in your mom's arms. My mom always called you *little Laura* and I know she is there to greet you as well with a big hug. I am thinking of all of you today and your families and wish I could be there to give you all hugs and give back some of the comfort your family had given me. I worked with Laura for several years and had traveled with her twice on work-related trips. In doing so I got to know her better and she made it a point to be sure she wasn't identified only as an HR Director. She was fun to talk to and recognized her position could be a difficult one. She helped me understand the importance of not idenfying yourself as what you "do" because the person you "are" is much more important.

Beautiful Laura! Always smiling, always happy, always made me laugh since she was just a little girl. She has grown to be such a beautiful woman but her time with us was too short. She will forever be in my heart. I love you sister!

We are profoundly sadden by Laura's passing. She was a wonderful person who loved her life and her faimly so much. She touched both of our lives and she will be missed. She has left us with one very important lesson..that today is a gift and tomorrow is not a promise.

I was very fortunate to have worked with and known Laura for many years. She was not only my co-worker but my friend. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

A light is gone from this world, and is now shining down on us from heaven. Anyone who knew my cousin Laura knew she was a woman of tremendous strength and determination. She also lived each day fully, squeezing every ounce of joy and happiness from every minute, and sharing it with all who came in contact with her. Her earthly presence will be deeply missed.
