Leo was a wonderful Father-in-law. He always made one feel at ease when you were with him. His smile would light up a room, just incredible. Leo was a humble, meat and potatoes man. No pretense, you got what you saw. When I was newly married to his daughter Monica, Leo said to her, "He is a good digger." I knew then that I was OK in his book. I will always remember his easy going nature, the shrug of his shoulders combined with his upturned hands at something funny, and, of course, that smile of his. It was an honor and privilege to have known him. Rest in Peace.

Leo was not only a cherished member of the Cadieux Bowling Club, but a member for fifty years (!), the very first recipient of our "emeritus member" designation, and our 1959 Grand Champion. As president of our league, I know I am joined by the entire membership in remembering Leo fondly, and extending his entire family our prayers, condolences and support.

To Ant Agnes, children and grandchildren Were are just informed by Nicole (the sister of Josiane) that Uncle Leo died on December 11th. We like to express our condeleances and sincere sympathy at this most difficult time.  At the time we met in 1981...a long time ago in St-Claire Shores ....we had the opportunity to know you and Leo in a better way and we will never forget that he was a man with a very good heart and humor. We remember him as a very gentle person. As the distance is to far away to come to his funeral we just wanted to let you know that we think about all of you and that we will burn a candle light for him. Dad, Even though I am so sad to let you go I know there are many others up there with you who were so happy to see you again. It helps to know that we are laying you to rest on what would have been Nicholas' 19th birthday -- I know you two are together again and watching over all of us. I will miss your smile and the way your face lit up whenever you greeted us and especially whenever you talked about your grandchildren. See you in heaven!

Agnes, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family..Leo will be greatly missed at our weekly card game..We are all used to seeing him at the same table for so long...it won't be the same without him...God Bless you and Your Family....

We will miss his kind face sitting in the pew that we shared every Sunday. I am so glad that we got to know him even if it was just for a few years.

I always smiled when the names were drawn and I heard Leo's name called with mine on the same team. He was an excellent featherbowler and, more importantly, a gentleman and a friend. I especially enjoyed meeting some of his family, and introducing them him and them to mine, at the Featherbowling Club's 75th anniversary party. Leo always enjoyed telling me stories about his children and grandchildren. He will be missed.
