Malcolm F. Stewart (Mac) was born in Deford, Michigan to Eber and Alice Stewart. He entered into rest February 28, 2018, at his home in Warren, Michigan at the age of 91. A proud veteran of the United States Army, Mac served his country during World War II. After being honorably discharged from the army Mac settled in the metro-Detroit area where he worked as a Production Engineer at Chrysler for 33 years. Following his time at Chrysler Mac enjoyed 32 years of retirement which gave him time to follow his passion. He grew a wonderful garden in his backyard that was the envy of his neighborhood with some of the best tomatoes around. He has also raised many Airedale Terriers throughout his life. As proud as Mac was of his military service, he was most proud of his 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mac loved everything about cars! He was a member of the Veteran Motor Car Club of America for many years and enjoyed restoring antique cars. He also never turned down going for a ride and was described as one of the best drivers around, even into his elder years. He is predeceased by his parents, siblings and dear wife June. Mac will be missed by his children, Diane (Chester) Marzec, Susan (Marcelo) Virgili, Mark (Theresa) Stewart, Lisa (Steven) Belkoff, and Brian (Sandra Robotti) Stewart.
