Mark was a long time employee of General Dynamics Land Systems of Sterling Heights, MI where he held the position of Director of Finance. He and his wife were devoted member of the Woods Church of Warren, Michigan.
Mark loved to golf with family and friends and he was a connoisseur of good food and restaurants.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Gena Michele Bender; one son, Colin P. Bender; one granddaughter, Tegan Riley Bender; one sister, Vicki Mitchell of Pennsylvania; one brother , Don Bender of Florida; two nieces, Kelly Reed and Ariel Alonso, one nephew, Brady Bender; two great nieces, Elizabeth Alonso and Evelyn Alonso; and one great nephew, Jackson Bender.
A celebration of Mark’s Life will be held from 3-6 pm on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Woods Church of Warren in their main sanctuary.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Society.
