

Mark Bumler, age 81, passed away in Naples, Florida on Sunday, February 11, 2018. He was born in Detroit on Wednesday, November 11, 1936; the son of Louis "Fred" and Pauline Bumler. Mark is the former Co-owner and CEO of Bumler Mechanical in Sterling Heights. His father, Fred, started this full service HVAC company in 1946 and Mark and his family have been delivering great service and exceeding customer expectations ever since. Mark has also always been very active in his community. He has held positions as President and Treasurer for the Fraser Rotary and was a longtime and loyal member of the Mt. Clemens Jaycees. Mark also served on the National Board for SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association). Mark was a Life Master Bridge Player and played in numerous sanctioned tournaments. He also enjoyed golf and traveling. After retirement, he and his wife, Bonnie, became true Snowbirds and enjoyed their winter home in Naples, Florida. A quiet and kind man, Mark was fair as a leader and genuinely caring to those he held dear. He will be remembered as the ultimate Gentlemans Gentleman. Mark is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Beloved husband of Bonnie for nearly 60 years. Loving father of Lori (Tom) Jurek, Carol (Greg) Thompson and Dave (Andrea) Bumler. Treasured grandfather of Eric (Megan) & Alyssa Thompson, Kristen (Nick) Rhodes, and Melanie & Jacqueline Bumler. Dear brother of Rolland (Gayle) Bumler, Fae (Randy) Lord, Randy (Linda) Pagel and Judy Hoffman. Also survived by many caring nieces, nephews and friends. Marks family will receive friends on Sunday, February 18th from 2:00PM until 8:00PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic, Warren. A funeral service for Mark will take place on Monday, February 19th at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Pastor Meg Wilson will officiate. Memorial Contributions maybe made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
