Marlene Kay Sanders, age 80, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 2, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on January 13, 1945 to Amelia (Monacel) and Edwin Sanders, she leaves behind a legacy of love for her family and her deeply cherished dogs.
Marlene was a devoted mother to her daughter, Erika (Shawn) Gaffin, a proud Mema to Harper and Grayson Gaffin, and beloved sister of Sharon (Keith) Bing. She was loved by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Marlene’s love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held in the spring, with details to be announced at a later date.
