Mary Margaret Bucklew

Mary Margaret Bucklew (nee' Theisen), born October 6, 1920, went to the Lord peacefully at the age of 93, with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Bucklew who died May 3, 2012. After raising her four daughters Mary was employed by Cunningham Drugs working in both Macomb and Oakland County. Mary enjoyed her white brick ranch, was a terrific cook, seamstress, and vegetable gardener and grew spectacular flowers, especially her roses. Mary loved her family, animals; both cats and dogs, was especially fond of "Mr. Beautiful" her boat and enjoyed driving her blue convertible Delta 88. Beloved mother of Jean (Clay) Rocker, Gerrie Benefield, Gloria (John) Schlaps and Diana (Nick) Cole. Dear sister of Norbert Theisen. Loving and proud grandmother of William (Sarah) Hackel, Mark Hackel, Gregory (Lynda) Hackel, Christina (Tim) Gunter, Stephen (Karen) Benefield, Scott Benefield, Lana Schlaps, Angela (David) Black and Jennifer (Ben) Fugate. Also survived by step-granddaughter Dawn (Brad) Anderson, great grandmother of 15 and one great-great grandson. Visitation Monday 2pm-9pm with a scripture service at 6:30pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic)Warren. In state Tuesday 9:30am , Mass at 10am Our Lady Queen of Families-St Clement Campus, 25320 Van Dyke, Center Line. Interment St Clement Cemetery. Memorials to the church or Premier Hospice, 511 Fort Street, Port Huron, MI 48060, appreciated by family.
