I always enjoyed my time talking with Megan at Neimans in HR from Insurance to customer complaints about me.. I’d see her pretty regularly. Prayers to her family during this difficult time

Although I never met Megan in person since I joined BlueWave remotely, during our virtual meetings I would always feel her comforting presence and bubbly energy as if she was actually there with me physically. Megan was the kind of person you could trust and open up to. She was always such a great listener and cheerleader. I loved hearing about her passion for yoga and how she was part of external committees to help bring more diversity into the sustainability industry. I wish we had more time to spend together but will cherish the memories we had. Megan is an unforgettable person and I will miss her. Thinking of the Baker family in these difficult times.

Working with Megan for the past year was very meaningful and wonderfully memorable.   She had such a great attitude, was a very kind, patient, thoughtful and helpful  to all of us at BlueWave.  She was also willing to share her mindfulness with everyone - whether through her perspective on life,  love of yoga, her essential oils and crystals or just her caring ways, she had a way to pick you up and make you feel better (and not take yourself too seriously).  She was also an absolutely devoted Detroiter - unapologetic to her equally devoted Boston colleagues.    And her love for her family and in particular her two nephews, was both sweet and touching.  Among the stories she shared, was when her nephew Charlie Baker got to meet MA Governor Charlie Baker.  The story and how she told it were both priceless.  I miss Megan and deeply appreciate the time we spent working together.  I am very grateful for that.  Thank you to the Baker family for sharing Megan with us.

Megan was the epitome of an all around remarkable human being. She radiated positivity and brightened everyone’s life with her genuine smile and vibrant personality. From our ballet days in Grosse Pointe to our days in Delta Gamma at WMU and beyond, I am beyond grateful for our friendship. I will miss you dearly, Meegz. You were a beautiful and selfless soul, a true gift to all who entered your life. May we all strive to live with as much joy, grace and compassion as you did. Dear Baker Family,   Our hearts and sympathies are with all of you during this very difficult time. Megan was a beloved sister and friend to all in Delta Gamma. Her laughter was contagious, her hugs were comforting, and her uplifting personality was treasured. Megan radiated positivity everywhere she went, and her bright smile touched everyone she met. Here is what I remember: Megan was the kind of person who you could meet on a campy HR-coordinated small group lunch - as a new HR person - she would have an “I get it” smile and attitude, and continue as a “This may suck right now but we’ll keep going and get through it however messy and not perfect we need to be as real people” kind of friend.  She had the all-too-rare and valuable sense that life is too important to be taken seriously, and to be able to be that in a way that one felt cared for and listened to.   Megan was the kind of person who was able to see the actual nature of things. That can often be a draining and disheartening path.  She chose to use it to be one who cared enough to fight the hard or depersonalized things to help the people around her.    Megan could help you say her name right without making you feel bad that you knew her and saw her all the time and you still pronounced her name wrong

Megan, you will always be the sweet young women with a smile and laugh to fill a room with love. I do not remember you ever walking into a room but rushing in with enthusiasm and joy. May your dad hold you in his arms and surround you with endless love. You deserved more time but love is endless.

To Megan's family - I had the great pleasure to work with Megan at BlueWave Solar. She was very professional, dedicated, and the highly capable Human Resources Director for our 90+ company. Megan managed our recruitment, hiring,  performance evaluation and other critical people-related functions and she did so with great focus and care. But what made Megan so valuable to BlueWave and what we will miss most of all was her cheerful, smiling, positive attitude. It was a constant source of good energy good cheer for all of us. She had a ready laugh, a sensitivity to people's needs, and a kind heart She was never too busy to help me and my colleagues with the complexity of our individual on-line HR responsibilities or serve as a shoulder to lean on or otherwise be there to help. Megan had a bright and positive personality. I started at BlueWave a few months back, she was quick to start a conversation with everyone. She and I related over our shared love of Michigan sports and local food. I'm sad we didn't get to meet in person, I will miss her smile and laughter in our virtual meetings

Megan and I bonded instantly on her first day at BlueWave when I learned she had just begun her yoga teacher training program (I had just completed mine). We spent many workplace hours talking about our shared love for the practice and for teaching. Megan was a bright light in the office, who *always* put a smile on everyone's faces and brought a positive energy to every meeting. She has left a beautiful mark on the BlueWave family, and will be incredibly missed. Sending so much love and healing to the Baker family <3

To the extended Baker family we at BlueWave send our love and condolences to you all at this difficult time. We are all stunned by this news and are having a hard time processing it to be totally honest. What we do know is that we will miss Megan tremendously. She had an amazing gift to listen, always found the best in others and was just a pleasure (and a lot of fun!) to be around. Megan we will miss you deeply. Much love from your BlueWave family.

It was a joy to know Megan through our shared yoga community in Cambridge. I had the special honor of teaching a class each week that Megan would assist. She offered kindness and friendly support to each student that she worked with. I also had the privilege of witnessing Megan grow her love of yoga from an individual practice to sharing her gifts as a teacher. She will be missed and always remembered.

It’s a sad day for all that knew her. I will always cherish our college snow day trips for breakfast in her Mustang! There isn’t a memory I have that doesn’t bring a smile to my face. I am so sorry Baker family. Thank you for always taking me in at Easter when my family was so far away. Your dinners were always amazing.  Sending prayers and strength to find some peace in knowing you have another guardian angel watching over you. 🙏🏻❤️😢

Megan was truly an Angel and has now gained her wings. I know she is with her dad now. May she Rest In Peace.
