Dear father of Cheryl Mayer (Randy), Elaine Smith (Bernard), Gary Nicholson, and Michael Mitchell (Shelley). Grandfather of eight. Brother of Lillian Mitchell. Father-in-law of the late Susan Nicholson. Funeral Monday 11am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Family will receive friends and visitors Sunday 3-9 pm. Mr. Mitchell enjoyed working on his model railroad.
