Michael E. Raymond, age 67, died October 23, 2010 at his residence. He was born on December 25, 1942, the son of John and Lois Raymond. Mr. Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Garnett; his mother Lois; and siblings John (Judy), Bruce (Pam), Bonnie Robinson (Darrell), Gary (Judy), Nancy Drahota (Michael) and Jay. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, his mother-in-law Betty Hagerty (the late John) and sisters-in-law Bonnie and Deb. Michael was a pilot of small planes.He loved Model Railroads, his dogs and especially being up at his cottage by the lake. The funeral will be at 12 noon Wednesday at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road in Grosse Pointe Woods. Rev. Larry Austin will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
