Mina Smith, age 92, died peacefully on June 22, 2016 at St John Macomb Hospital, Warren. She was born February 3, 1924 in Detroit to the late Henry and Minnie Windemuth. Mina was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Robert, who predeceased her 20 years ago. Dear mother of Karen (Lee) Suhr, Gerald Smith and the late Robert Smith. Loving and proud grandmother of Casey Suhr, Michael (Diana) Suhr, Debra VanDerviel, Jackie (Michael) Schocke, Robert Smith and Nicholas Smith. Dear sister of Freida Gunningham and the late John and Richard Windemuth. Dear sister in-law of Mary Vankershauer. She is survived by several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday, July 2, 2016, starting at 11:00AM with a funeral service at 1:00PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, Warren. Interment will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township.
