Patricia Jabara

Patricia Jabara, of Saint Clair Shores, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was the daughter of Elian and Margaret Harants and the sister of three brothers. Patricia was born and raised in Detroit, where the family lived on Philip Avenue until their move to Grosse Pointe Park. Patricia spent her early years being proud of her father’s grocery store downtown and learning the steady routines of a close-knit neighborhood. Eventually, Patricia would meet the love of her life, Victor, and the two would start their lives together.

The family remained in Grosse Pointe Park, and Patricia carried the memories of both places with her for the rest of her life. She often shared stories and spoke about the friends she made on their quiet street and the joys she had.

Beyond any doubt, Patricia’s greatest joy was her children, Suzanne and Douglas. She poured herself into raising them and took pride in the people they became. She loved ordinary days with them most of all.

Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, her steadiness, and the way she made others feel loved and at home. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

She is predeceased by parents, Elian and Margaret Harants; brother, George Harants; niece, Julie Sambol; and dear husband, Victor Jabara

She is survived by her children, Suzanne Jabara and Doug (Jennifer) Jabara, and grandchild, Bryce. Patricia is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
