Peter Macres passed away on February 16, 2019 at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Toula. He was proud of his sons Stephen (Stella), and Christopher (Ellen). He will be missed by his loving grandchildren Marley (Forrest) Allen, Maggie, Nicholas, Louis, and Thomas. He is survived by his sister in-law Mary Ann Demetrakeas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm with a Trisagion at 6:30 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Peter will lie instate on Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of his funeral at 10:00 am at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Rd., St Clair Shores. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church.
