Long time Grosse Pointe resident Peter Palazzola passed away two days after his 59th birthday at his home on Sunday January 17, 2016 with his brother at his side. He was born in Detroit the son of Angelo and Virginia (nee Lauri) Palazzola. Peter was a 1975 graduate of Grosse Pointe North High School, and a 1979 graduate of Wayne State University. Peter was an artist, an avid reader and a book collector a perpetual student, always learning. His brother Sam described Peter as a patron and student of literary works and fine arts. Peter is survived by his brother Sam as well as a large and loving family. No visitation or services are planned.
