Ray and I went through all twelve grades together at St. Ambrose. Fom 1986-1993 we were neighbors on Fina Drive in Warren. I'll always remember Ray as a good guy, a hard worker and a devoted family man. He and his beloved family will be in my prayers, and those of the other members of the Class of 1969.

Words can never truly express what we feel right now. This is such a tragedy for all of the family and friends. Ray will be missed by everyone that knew him and sorrow will stay in our hearts as we attempt to understand why such a good man / father / friend had to be taken from us so soon. May God continue to watch over my wonderful friend Elaine and her family, giving them the strength to get through these most difficult times. We love you....

Sorry to hear of Ray's passing, I was looking forward to seeing him at our class reunion in August. I grew up in Grosse Pointe Park like Ray and still remember him from Little League days in 1963. Rest easy and God Bless.

To the Ellis Family, I attended St. Amborse High School with Ray, class of 1969 and am sorry to learn of his passing. My prayers are with you during your time of grief.

To Ray's Family, I just received an email from Doug Delaney, the class president of St. Ambrose's class of 1969. He informed me that Ray was found to have inoperable brain cancer on April 25th. Wow! My heart breaks for the whole family. I know what it is like to lose a family member suddenly. My dad died of a massive heart attack at work when I was a senior in medical school. I went to the hospital while they were still performing CPR on him which was unsuccessful. I never had a chance to say good bye and there were things between him and I that needed healing. The Lord has taken care of those things for us. Christine was in my sister Kathy's class and my sister Marge just informed me that there was a sister in her class, ?Margie. Kathy and Marge are scheduled to come to Buchanan tonight enroute to a retreat in the Wisconsin Dells. Please give my love to Christine. I thought very highly of her. My heart breaks for your entire family. My love and prayers go out to you all.
