Richard Hammond passed away on April 26, 2010 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. He was born on August 8, 1934 in Gladwin, Michigan; son of Oscar and Katherine (nee Camp) Hammond. He is survived by his loving wife Jacqulyn. He was a wonderful stepfather to Joe Rogowski (Karen) and Amy Anderson (Bill). He leaves behind six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Reverend Milton Schemm will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00 - 9:00 pm. Mr. Hammond will be interred at Cadillac Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clinton Twp. with military honors.
