FLEMING, Robert R. October 27, 2015 Age 95 Beloved husband of the late Jane Fleming. Dear father of Kathryn Thurber and Patricia Fleming. Loving grandfather of Meghan Shaydak (Che), Tricia Thurber, Whitney Thurber, and Cleveland Thurber IV (Stefani Herron). Great-grandfather of Quinn and Max Shaydak. Mr. Fleming received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal and Four Oak Leaf Clusters while piloting a B-24 in the European Theater of Operations. Private services will be held in Carrollton, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Smile Train, St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Salvation Army. Mr. Fleming enjoyed golf and playing bridge. He also rode his bike through the neighborhood. He was a WWII buff. He was a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather and was involved in all aspects of their lives.
