Robert C. Jervis, age 86, died peacefully on September 5, 2013 at Henry Ford Village in Dearborn after a short illness. Robert was born in Strathroy, Ontario, Canada on January 18, 1927; the son of Charles and Emma Jervis. He immigrated to the United States as a young man. Bob was a trust officer for the former National Bank of Detroit. He and his wife Marjorie (Maggie) were longtime residents of Grosse Pointe and St. Clair Shores until twelve years ago when they moved to Henry Ford Village in Dearborn. Bob is survived by his sister, Mary Lou Greenslade and her husband Kenneth. He was predeceased by his wife, Maggie, and brother Donald Jervis. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 375 Lothrop at Chalfonte in Grosse Pointe Farms at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11. Rev. Morsal Collier will officiate.
