My sincerest condolences to Bob's family. He was well respected by stamp collectors all over for his knowledge and his honesty. He will be missed.

It is so sad to have heard of the passing of both Bob and Anna within a week: what a terrible tragedy for their family to be forced to endure. I did not know Anna well but have heard that she was Bob's better half. To say that philately has lost a dear friend and one of the finest people in the trade, would be an understatement. The fact is, it has. Bob will truly be missed in the stamp world and I am certain in every other area as well. I have known Bob for 35 years & must say that he was one of the good guys. I had many pleasurable dealings with him which lead me to always hold him in the highest esteem. I haven't seen him very often in the past few years and now truly regret this fact. Bob will not be forgotten. He will be missed by all who knew him, I am certain. I know I alredy do. Ann and I wish the Lippert family our deepest sympathies and hope that your fondest memories will help you through this tragic period.

Dear Tobi and family. We worked together in the eyeglass industry some 30 years ago. My deepest sympathy at the recent loss of you father and mother. Your father was a fine gentleman whenever I met him at his stamp shop in St. Clair Shores. I last saw him about 15 years ago when I was looking for a particular stamp design and he was very helpful and always such a polite man. I'm sad to learn that you lost both parents within such a short time. May the pleasant memories keep your parents love ever present in your thoughts. My prayers to you and your family at this time of your loss.

Rick and Tobi,it was sad to learn of the lost of both your parents in such a short time. I have many fond memories of being at your Mom and Dad's house growing up playing Risk and Bumper Pool with Kirk and the rest of the boys. Picking up our Free Press papers directly behind your Dad's stamp store, to many to list. May the memories of your parents be of comfort to you at this time. To the Lippert Family, I was deeply sadded by the news that Bob Lippert had passed away. The Lippert Stamp Auctions have been a tradition in the Detroit area for many years and Bob was always respected as a friend as well as a businessman. He had an influence on my life and my desire to also be part of the stamp auction business. Although a business competitor, Bob always was friendly and fair, and always had a big smile. He had an excellent reputation and helped many others in the stamp business. He will be greatly missed. All who knew and worked with Bob will remember him. My prayers and best wishes go out to the Lippert family.

Dear Lippert Family, I am saddened to hear of the loss of such a fine man. When I was a beginning stamp collector Mr. Lippert always treated me with kindness and respect and was very helpful to me. When I became a stamp dealer Mr. Lippert was an excellent coach and always gave me great advice. I have grown to be one of the largest stamp dealers in the US and credit Mr Lippert for his assistance and encouragement along the way. May he rest in peace.
