Rose M. Agosta

Rose M. Agosta, age 89 of Detroit, died March 24, 2013 in Shelby Township. She was born in Detroit on April 5, 1923; the daughter of Anthony and Josephine Agosta. Rose attended Osbourn High School in Detroit where she was an honorary Brigadier General in the ROTC program. She was also a devoted volunteer at St. John Hospital and Saratoga Hospital for many years. Rose was an excellent cook and baker. She will be remembered by her family for her great love of life. Rose was the beloved wife of Anthony M. for 67 years. Loving mother of the late Patricia and Anthony P. Agosta. Dear sister of Frances Narchionda, Mary Ventimiglio and the late Mamie DeAngelo. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Entombment Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
