Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19th, starting at 7:30pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home with Father Andrew Dawson of Saint Joan of Arc Church, officiating.

Rose was born in Detroit to Spiro and Angela Farrugia on December 16th, 1931. She spent her early years working at Hudson’s Department Store in Detroit, Michigan. One of her favorite past times was to go ballroom dancing with her best friend, which is where she met the love of her life, Edward Andrew Tyler. They knew it was love at first sight. Rose always said that their favorite place to meet after work was under the Kern’s Clock. Just 6 months later, Rose married Edward on December 31st, 1959 and they were married for 62 years. Shortly after their wedding, they decided to start a family, and welcomed Edward, Angela and Paul into this world. Once their children were all grown up and started families of their own, Rose decided to retire early and help raise her grandchildren. Family was always her number one priority and meant the world to her, leaving us all with many wonderful memories made together.

Rose Mary Tyler is preceded by her husband, Edward Tyler, her parents, Spiro and Angela Farrugia, and her brother, Paul Farrugia.

Rose is survived by her children, Edward Tyler, Angela and Anthony Ciolino, Paul and Ann Tyler, and her Grandchildren, Christina (Chris) Sanford, Samantha (Matt) Anderson, Anthony (Celia McKinney) Ciolino, Samuel Tyler, and Sofia Tyler and great grandchild, Josephine Grace Sanford.
