Dear Linda, Peter, Paul and the younger siblings, Please accept my sincerest condolences at the passing of your dear Mother. Your parents meant a lot to me, as well as did Agnes and Roland. Now they are all gone but the memory of each of them warms my heart and I think of my youth (age 20 when I started at CPF) and how you were all kids then. Nursing is a profession of service that the majority of time is not preformed in isolation. Nurses rely on each other for the synergistic effect of teamwork in our efforts of care giving. Nursing is a calling, a way of life. It is appropriate that we honor our colleagues not only during their career, but also at the end of life's journey. The nurses of PHNAA honor Rosemary Adamo for her years of service as a nurse and the difference she made during those years by stepping into people's lives and making them better. She was a calming presence when needed giving gentle touches, firm pushes or encouraging words. She was there to witness humanity, its beauty, in good times and bad without judgemen. She embraced the woes of the world, willingly, and offered hope. Now that she is at the Greater One's side She is there. We honor you Rosemary and appreciate you for being our friend and colleague.

Dear Linda, John, Peter, Paul, Mark, Greg, Kevin and families, Like you, I was blessed to be one of seven, to have parents who put family first, and to have parents happily married for a life time. In addition to being cousins, you and I share these blessing that we unfortunately don't see a lot of in today's society! A few years ago in Ft. Myers your Mom asked me to coordinate with Peter and Kevin a family reunion in Ft. Myers but that of course didn't happen for many reasons on my end. Perhaps one day we will honor her with such an occasion. You all have been in my prayers for a long time as you has faced this journey with your Mom. I know you are comforted that she is at peace and with your Dad. I pray sorrow will turn to joy soon as you recall a life well lived by your Mom and the honor of God blessing each of you with wonderful parents and family. Much sympathy to all of the Adamo family. Your mother and grandmother was a great cook and very funny. We always enjoyed spending time with her and Vince when we were in Florida.
