Rosemary Barker was born October 30, 1938 in Detroit Michigan. She died peacefully December 30, 2011 at St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She was the beloved wife of James. She is the dearest mother of Debbie King Bagby (Walker), Kim Sherer (Gerry) and Bayard King (Cindy). Mrs. Barker will be missed dearly by her seven grandchildren; and her stepchildren Robert (Pam) and Desiree. She was preceded in death by her brother William Schultz. Mrs. Barker will lie in state on Wednesday from 9:30am until time of mass 10am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 157 Lakeshore Drive. Family will receive friends and visitors Tuesday 2-9pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Prayer and remembrances service will be held Tuesday 7pm.
