Spyro Douveas passed away at his home in Clinton, Arkansas on December 14, 2010 at age 55. Mr. Douveas was preceded in death by his beloved Mother Anastasia Douveas. He is survived by his daughters Anastasia and Kayla, and three grandchildren. Beloved son of Vasilios Douveas of Greece, siblings Dimitrios, John, and Maria Bouras of Greece, a niece and nephews. Mr. Douveas was an Air Force Veteran and worked in the transportation business. He was highly respected and deeply loved in his community in Arkansas. Visitation will be held Monday December 20th from 3-9pm with Trisagion 7pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods. Funeral will be at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Road, St. Clair Shores, on Tuesday December 21st. In state at 9:30am followed by Liturgy at 10am. Interment Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township.
