Lord on tuesday, December 12, 2023. She died peacefully in her sleep
in her home of 71 years.
She was born February 17, 1931 to Agnes and Stanley Zawadzki.
Her brother Rudy and sisters Veronica and Wanda preceded her in death.
Stephanie started working at 10 years of age folding and straightening
blue jeans earning 5 cents a day, and didn't stop working until she was
90 years old as an office manager.
Stephanie married Raymond Gryebet August 4, 1951 at Our Lady Queen
of Heaven Church in Detroit. Stephanie and Raymond were blessed with
Richard (1952), Sandra (1953), Randolph (1955), Robert (1956).
Stephanie was devout in her faith and her life was full as loving wife, mother,
daughter, sister, aunt, friend. She was an avid gardener, softball coach, fabulous cook, bowler, seamstress, reader.
Beloved wife of the late Raymond, cherished mother of Richard, Sandra,
Randolph, the late Robert. Loving grandmother to Luke, Jack (Randolph, Van),
Stephanie, Raymond, Dena (Robert).
May Stephanie rest forever in God's gentle and merciful arms.
An instate for Stephanie will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080, followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 PM.
