Thaddeus Gladysz

Thaddeus Gladysz, age 89, died March 6, 2012 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. He was born September 20, 1922 to Anthony and Appolonia (nee Ruzek) Gladysz in Hamtramck, Michigan. Thaddeus loved to fish in his hometown of Houghton Lake, Michigan. He also loved wood working and coin collecting. Most of all, Thaddeus loved being around people, especially his family and friends. He was always cheerful and was known for being a jokester. He was loved by everyone who met him. Beloved husband of the late Doris (nee Bielecki) Gladysz of 53 years. Loving father of Linda (David Hayes) Kilburn and Debra (Tom) Phelps. Proud grandfather of Kevin (Melanie Manhold) Kilburn, Brian (Sonya) Kilburn, Jason (Hope) Caroway, Darlynn (Andrea Curtis) Kilburn, Michael Caroway, Aaron Caroway, Karlene Kilburn, and Corrinne (Rick Verba) Kilburn. Great-grandfather of 9. Dear brother of Helen Walas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, March 9, 2012 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic Road (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Funeral service Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 12:00pm at the funeral home.
