Valerie Theresa Pomazanko, age 87, died January 23, 2015 at St John Macomb Hospital, Warren. She was born July 20, 1927 in Tarnow, Poland. Valerie was a seamstress for Ford Motors before retiring in 1992. She loved hummingbirds and picking blueberries at her cottage upnorth. She will always be remembered for her once a year "Pierogi Festival" with the family. Beloved wife of the late Michael who predeceased her in 1990. Dearest mother of Edward (Theresa)Pomazanko and Alicia (Dan Holody) Zulkiewski. Loving and proud grandmother of David (Seena) Zulkiewski, Andrew Zulkiewski, Christopher Pomazanko, Angela Pomazanko and the late Eddie. Great-grandmother of Viken Zulkiewski. Dear sister of the late Irene Giszczynski and best friend and caretaker Michael Zulkiewski. Visitation Monday 3:00pm-9:00pm with a scripture service 7:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic), Warren. In state Tuesday 9:30 am for a 10:00am Mass at St Anne's Catholic Church, 32000 Mound Rd., Warren. Ahpeters.
