I so appreciated that Mr. Herzog was our Teens For Christ sponsor at Cousino! He was a blessing to many students! His family members are in my prayers.

I was very sorry to hear about Mr. Herzog, my high school architecture teacher. He was the single largest influencer of my education path and decision to become an architect. I am grateful for the equality he showed to me as one of the few women in his classes in the late 70s. He genuinely cared about the welfare of his students and made us all feel valued and important. And he made us laugh, and made his classroom a place where we wanted to go. My prayers are with you, his children and grandchildren. May he rest peacefully in heaven.

Wendy and Perri, So sorry for the loss of your Dad. One of my best memories of Children's OR is the annual pizza party that your Mom and Dad put on every year. Meeting them that first year was a real treat. They were both good people. Your Dad was so down to earth and nice to all of us. Your Mom too. Take good care of yourselves, Casey

What wonderful , kind and gracious man. Always a gentleman to me. Laughing and interested in what anyone had to say. Heaven’s gain is our loss! God rest his soul and bless his family.

Him and Pat were tremdous Christians There family was well respected at Gratiot.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr Herzog. I was one of his many drafting students during his time at Cousino. It was because of him that I found my passion and career path into Automotive Design. I’ll never forget his demerits and relentless persist of lettering perfection :). RIP Mr H! Mr. Herzog was the greatest influence during my high school years and his direction and mentorship led me down a great path and has brought me where I am today. I still have a drafting board and use all the tools I got from his classes when building projects. Forever remembered!

We'll always remember Wally as a very friendly, outgoing, person who loved the Lord. His infectious personality and positive attitude demonstrated that he walked the talk. He was definitely, as James tells us, "a doer of the Word." We will miss seeing him at Bethany.
