Wayne graduated from University of Michigan with a bachelor degree in journalism. He was a well-established editor, publisher and writer of hundreds of articles, including an award-winning article in Twilight Zone Magazine. He loved to listen to the blues, Frank Zappa, and great guitarists like Jimi Hendrix and Buddy Guy. Wayne also had a fascination for wonderfully weird movies and science-fiction.
Beloved husband of Louise for 39 years. Loving father of Jennifer Charbonneau and Aaron (Emily) Johnson. Dear son of the late Charles "Zip" and Aliese (nee Collins) Johnson. Brother of Cheryl (Bryan) Ryckeley, Julie Nagel, and the late Brian Johnson. Also survived by many loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held privately in the near future.
