William Eugene "Gene" Stafford was born 16 January 1939 in Gainsboro, TN. He passed away 03, April, 2018 in Port Huron, MI. Loving partner to the late Betty Crawford. Loving father to Katrina Jean Stafford-Spry and Jamie Lynn Hamblin and the late siblings Colleen Barefield (Jim), Edem "Jr" Stafford (Sylvia) and Louise Poteet. Survived by five grandchildren, loving Sisters Carol Byrne and Betty Maggart, step-daughter Connie Chafin (Randy) and many loving nieces and nephews. He was a retired member of UAW from General Motors. Visitation on 06 April 2018, 1-2pm for family, 2-8 p.m. for all at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, MI 48088.
