It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Amanda Wells, who lost her courageous battle with addiction. Amanda was a deeply loved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Her life was filled with many wonderful moments of love, laughter, and connection, and those who knew her will forever hold those memories close.
Amanda is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Wells; her grandparents, Bennie (Catherine) Wells and Bruce (Jacqueline) Farley; her aunts, Char (Jim) Greene and Cindy Sue Billick; and her uncles, Bruce Farley, Barry Farley, and Jack McLaughlin.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Elijah and Braylon McClure and Khaled Cole; her mother, Patricia “Patty” Wells; her sister, Robyn Wells; and her nephews, Bruce and Kenneth Hewitt. Amanda is also survived by her uncles, Richard (Helen) Wells and Paul Billick; her aunts, Christy Farley, Judy Farley, and Ellen McLaughlin; her cousins, Cora, Jenna, and Kelsey, and numerous other cousins; and a special friend, Candy Hundley.
Amanda was a 1997 graduate of Franklin Heights High School, where she played tennis, the flute in the band, and was a member of the flag corps. She cherished time spent at the park with her boys, family gatherings at restaurants, summer swimming and camping trips, and traveling to Philadelphia to visit her grandparents.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Amanda’s honor to the Ronald McDonald House.
Amanda's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
