

Betty A. Stickel, age 97, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022 at Logan Elm Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was born May 23, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Arthur and Rose (Funaro) Cruse. Betty retired as a waitress from Frisch’s after 20 years of service. Betty enjoyed search word puzzles and camping where she was a VIP at the State Parks. She will be remembered for her wonderful smile that lit up any room. She was a member of the Women of the Moose 207. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Billie Stickel; daughter, Nancy Kay Stickel; grandchildren, Amber Dawn and Anthony Stickel; siblings, Juanita Snyder, Louie Cruse, and Sonny Cruse. Betty is survived by sons, Billie (Coline) Stickel Jr. and Terry (Sheila) Stickel; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Rita Gabbert of Florida and Judy Hawk of Columbus; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City where Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
