Bonnie was born to Charles S. Parsons and Evelyn ’Tessie’ Burton on September 28, 1938, in Portsmouth, Ohio. She loved photography, scrapbooking, genealogy, painting, music, and fashion. She cherished every moment spent with her great-grandchildren who called her ‘Granny-Bee’. Bonnie was an avid dog lover and the bond she shared with her own dogs throughout the years was immeasurable. If you were attending an event, you could always find Bonnie next to the dogs, drinking a Diet Pepsi from her tropical frozen koozie.
From 1978-1980, along with her husband, Russell, they owned and operated Jim’s Dairyland in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Then, she spent many years as a fashion buyer for Marting’s Department Store in Portsmouth, Ohio, and later retired as a Sr. Computer Analyst for Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio.
Bonnie was a loyal servant to God. She spent many years attending Grace Fellowship in Pickerington and loved sharing the love and warmth of Jesus with as many people as possible.
