Cassandra Lynn Mason

Cassandra Lynn “Cassie” (Stephenson) Mason, 54, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2024, at Riverside Hospital. Born January 4, 1970, in Columbus, Ohio to Connie Stephenson Leslie. Her grandparents, Charles and Bette Stephenson were her guardians and raised her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis L. Mason, II, and Charles and Bette Stephenson.

Cassie is survived by her daughter, Alexandria Coplan; mother, Connie Leslie; brother, Scott Leslie; sister, Melissa Leslie; sister-in-law's Lynda Frost and Nicole Mason; loving boyfriend, Pete Cornell; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as other family and friends.

Cassie was a graduate of West High School, class of 1988. She loved music, dancing, butterflies, the color pink, Marilyn Monroe, Cleveland Browns, watching movies and crime shows, and spending time with family and friends. She was sweet, loving, exceedingly kind spirited, loyal, compassionate, had a beautiful smile and a selfless soul. She touched so many lives. No words can express the deep love many of us have for her or the profound loss, sorrow, and grief we are feeling.

A Celebration of Cassie’s life service will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm, with service beginning at 3:00 pm. Pastor Doug Hanna officiating.
