D. Gayle (Eads) Sales

Born November 1, 1935, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Lawrence H. and Wilmeth (Cox) Eads. Gayle graduated from Kokomo High School in 1953. She married the love of her life, Kenneth Sales December 18, 1955, and they were devoted husband and wife for the remainder of their years together. Kenneth Sales preceded her in death on June 1, 2022, at the age of 92.

Gayle left this earth to join several beloved family members on July 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her infants John and Susan, her parents, her sister Joann Newlin of Kokomo, and her grandson William Archer of Franklin, Tennessee.

Gayle is survived by daughter Melissa (Nicholas) Archer of Georgetown, Texas, son Stephen (Jeanne) Sales of Grove City Ohio, grandson Graham Archer of Georgetown, Texas, granddaughter Maylene Sales of West New York, New Jersey, and step-grandchildren Alec Herrera of Aberdeen, North Carolina and Sonia Herrera of Alexandria, Virginia.

Gayle has been a member of the Kokomo Church of the Nazarene since 2005.
