Dean Anthony Capuana

Dean A. Capuana, 69, of Grove City, OH passed away on April 28, 2025 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 15,1955 in Columbus Ohio, Dean was the son of Lolita A. Capuana and the late Albert F. Capuana. Dean is survived by his love of 17 years Pam Walker, sisters Norma Capuana-Czarnecki (Frank), Kandy Capuana and preceded in death by his sister Teresa Capuana. Uncle of Chad Blount, Tara Blount, Anthony Czarnecki, Max Czarnecki, Adam Czarnecki along with great-nieces Hannah, Jenna, Makenna and Airabella. Dean was fortunate to have many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dean was a graduate of Franklin Heights High School where he made lifelong friends. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and was a long time San Franciso 49ers fan.

A visitation to celebrate Dean’s life will be held on Monday, May 12th, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Schoedinger Norris Funeral Home, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City OH. 43123. A memorial church service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 55 Pasadena Ave, Columbus, OH 43228 at 11:00 AM the Interment will follow at Galloway Cemetery 6333 Alkire Road in Galloway, Ohio 43119.

Dean will be deeply missed by his family and friends but his memory will live on in the stories we will continue to share.
