Gary Paul Martin

Gary Paul Martin, age 65, of Grove City, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was born on May 18, 1960 in Columbus, OH to Kathryn and Edmund “Eddy” Martin. Gary was a loving Husband, Dad and Pop Pop. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Georgia, daughter, Mariah (Zachary), grandson, Tatum, mother, Kathryn Martin, sister, Patty (Buzz) Webb, brother, Danny (Barb) Martin. He was preceded in death by his father, Edmund “Eddy” Martin. Gary was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, his amazing work ethic and always being there to help whenever you needed him, and was a friend to everyone. He loved going on vacations to the beach with his family and friends and he was damn good at setting up a campsite. He especially cherished time spent with his family. His presence brought comfort, laughter and many bird calls, he loved showing off his bird call talents especially to his Tatie boy. He retired from Mad Hatter Muffler after 21 years of service. A visitation time will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 11-1 pm at Schoedinger Grove City where his funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Pastor Ruth Pribe officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
