Gregory Scott Windle

Age 56, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary Windle and Carolyn (Sheets) Culwell.

Gregory is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Teri; children, Randy (Tina) Ash, Brooke Tigyer, Preston Barnes, Jada Vanhouten, Lance Windle; grandchildren, Christian, Cali, Paisleigh, Audrey “Button,” Gavin, and Landon; step-dad, Jerry Culwell, siblings, Gary Liston, Paul (Cheryl) Baker Jr., Dianna (Michael) Kidd, Susie Windle as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, coworkers, and friends.

Gregory worked for Franklin County in the Maintenance Department and retired from the City of Columbus after 25 years of dedicated service. He was passionate about riding his Harley Davidson, working on cars or anything with a motor, and racing cars at the Columbus Motor Speedway, as well as a coach for his children for many years in football and baseball. He also enjoyed playing pool with Teri and was known for his hard work and strong opinions on nearly any topic.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Alton Cemetery.
