

Jacob Ryan Robbins, 37, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 23, 1988 and grew up in Worthington, Ohio. He attended Grove City High School and was a dedicated and hardworking individual. He was a former employee of Beulah Park Racetrack. Later, he lived and worked on the Lavoto family cattle ranch in Saguache, Colorado, where he embraced the cowboy lifestyle he loved. A special thanks to the Lavoto family, especially Elise, for the time that he was able to spend with your family.
An avid outdoorsman and athlete, Jacob enjoyed skeet shooting, bull riding, boxing, and MMA fighting—activities that reflected his toughness and adventurous spirit. He had a special fondness for dogs and took great pride in working with heavy equipment.
Family meant everything to Jacob. He had a big heart, a bold personality, and was known for being quite the flirt.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin; maternal grandmother, Linda Reisch; paternal grandparents, George and Regina Robbins; maternal grandfather, Joseph Matukaitis; and cousin, Matthew Matukaitis.
Jacob is survived by his son, Colton Robbins; mother, Laurie Lauter; father, Stephen Robbins; siblings, Jared Robbins, Kayla Robbins, Joshua Lauter, Noah Lauter, and Joel Robbins; grandfather, Tom Reisch; aunt, Judy (Michael) Anderson; uncle, Micheal (Collett) Matukaitis; and numerous niece, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH 43123. Visitation will follow the service until 4:30 p.m.
