John C. Crowe

John C. Crowe, Sr., 89, passed away on February 17, 2022. John was born in Pence Springs, West Virginia on October 3, 1932 to his parents Thomas and Maude (Dunbar) Crowe. He was one of 12 siblings. John worked 27 years for Belmont Casket Company and 16 years for OCLC.

John was preceded in death by his parents, 10 of his siblings, an infant son, son James C. Crowe, grandson Harley Crowe, granddaughter Angelina Smith, and former spouse Juanita Davis.

John is survived by and will be greatly missed by his children John Crowe, Jr., Cathy (John) Crosby, and Susan Pelphrey (Lee Pelphrey); grandchildren Jenny, Tangee, Salina, Justin, Tony, Jessica, and Darwin “LJ”; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother Vivian Scott Crowe; former spouse Darlene Crowe; as well as nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.

John’s family will receive visitors from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Schoedinger Funeral Service, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City (new Grove City location). Funeral services to be conducted at 11am on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Obetz Cemetery, 4455 Groveport Road, Obetz, Ohio.
