Laurie was born on March 5, 1960 in Columbus to the late John and Bonnie Crishbaum. She graduated from Grove City High School and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Laurie worked at TruGreen Chemlawn for 26 years and enjoyed working and spending time with her work friends.
Laurie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family fiercely, both biological and chosen. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and dogs. She had a great sense of humor. If there was music, she was dancing, even in the grocery story aisles. She didn’t care who was watching. She loved going shopping, especially for an opportunity to spoil those she loved. As a lifelong resident of Grove City, she enjoyed participating in community events.
In addition to her parents, Laurie is preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Crishbaum, Mother (Bonnie Crishbaum/ Powers) and Father (John Crishbaum).
Laurie is survived by her husband, Jon Studer; her children, Alexandrea Norwood, Danielle Shubert (Nathanial), and Sara Searle (Ernest) and her 5 grandchildren: Sawyer, Katherine, Eva, Ellie and Emma; her brothers-in-law, Mark Studer (Pam), Craig Studer (Janet) and Tom Studer (Patti); her sister-in-law, Jane Garterman (Chuck); as well as many other relatives and friends.
Family will accept friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway. Laurie will be laid to rest at Grove City Cemetery.
