

Lawrence Matthew Stuhldreher, formerly of Washington Court House, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on August 28, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to the late Eugene and Rosemary (McGrath) Stuhldreher.
Larry's Catholic faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and values. He deeply cherished time spent with his family and cat, always placing them at the center of his world. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Larry exemplified dedication and service to his country.
He found joy in the simple pleasures, whether it was a round of golf on a sunny afternoon or savoring his favorite Pepperidge Farm Chesapeake cookies and a cup of coffee. A true history enthusiast, Lawrence could often be found immersed in the stories of the past, eager to learn and share his knowledge.
Above all, Lawrence was known for his warm sense of humor. He had a gift for making others smile and brought laughter and light to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Brady and Terrance Stuhldreher and brother-in-law, Robert Schotzinger.
Larry is survived by the love of his life and wife of 59 years, Nancy; daughter, Amy Diane Pickering; grandson, Wesley (Allegra Wicker) Pickering; siblings, Kathleen Schotzinger, Thomas (Wendy) Stuhldreher, Rosemary (Jerry) Cannon, and Anna (Richard) Eby; beloved cat, Rosie; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, located at 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, on October 17, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00am. Graveside committal service with military honors will be held Monday, October 20, 2025 at 12:15 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273.
