Mary Sue Gregg

Mary was a lifelong resident of Groveport, Ohio, and a proud graduate of Groveport Madison High School, Class of 1964. She went on to attend nursing school, beginning a life devoted to caring for others. Her generous spirit and bubbly personality made her beloved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Mary found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved watching her favorite Hallmark movies, mystery shows, and classic television. She cherished time spent visiting with friends and family, watching the birds outside her window, and caring for her devoted cats, Missy and Smudge.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Luan (Mark) Zangmeister; her brother, Jim McGuire; and her loving husband, Mike Gregg.

She is survived by her son, Jason (Jennifer) Ganz; her daughter, Stacey; her grandchildren, Lyric, Cole and Quinn, nieces and nephews, Jane (Steve) Bruns, Jill (Drew) Wisecup, and Jim (Jeri) Zangmeister, Jeff (Nancy) Zangmeister; special friends, Cinda and Joanne and many dear friends.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Schoedinger Grove City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Luminary Hospice, 2400 Corporate Exchange Dr., Suite 110, Columbus, OH 43231, or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 5200 Upper Metro Place, #170, Dublin, OH 43017.
