

Jimi was tragically, taken away from his family and friends on August 12, 2024. Jimi is survived by his loving wife Shannon, his beloved sons Andre Gross-Fasheun and Zane Fasheun, and granddaughter Charlie Sophia. He leaves to mourn his loss of life, mother and stepfather Karen and Ronald Fowler, grandmother, Barbara J. Young, mother-in-law Becky Ackerman, sister-in-law, Courtney Hertzfeld (Josh) nieces, Aliyah, Natalee, many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends he considered to be family. Jimi was preceded in death by his father, Oladotun O. Fasheun.
Jimi was born September 19, 1977. He lived in Athens, Ohio for 11 years before moving to Delaware Ohio. He graduated from Marion Catholic High School. While in high school he enrolled in classes at Ohio Wesleyan University, and after high school graduation he enrolled at the College of Wooster.
Jimi and Shannon dated in high school and reconnected in 2005. They were inseparable and ended each day together with jokes and laughter. They settled in Orient, Ohio where they found a welcoming and an embracing community of friends.
Jimi was a business owner, and a natural entrepreneur. He served both corporate and private clients across the state of Ohio. He placed pride in “doing it right the first time, every time”, a motto his maternal great grandfather used in his business.
Jimi loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, boating, target shooting, camping, and disc golf with his family and friends. His passport was full as he travelled extensively with family and friends. Jimi was active in his community and spent time volunteering at Zane’s elementary, middle, and high schools.
Jimi had a big heart, he was always ready to lend a helping hand through words and actions. He greeted all with his lighthearted spirit, a big hug, and a smile.
The family will receive visitors to honor the life of Jimi Fasheun on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, public visitation 3pm to 6pm and the funeral services begin at 6pm. Schoedinger Norris Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
